HOLY SMOKES IF YOUR CLAIM IS THAT IT IS "TOO CHEAP" TO "DO" SOLAR GEOENGINEERING YOU SHOULD BE SPECIFIC ABOUT WHAT YOU MEAN BY "DO" &"SOLAR GEOENGINEERING." E.g., assuming aerosols (or turning down the sun in a model) does not = delivering desirable solar geoengineering outcomes.pic.twitter.com/QoGSYuArHz

Really interesting! Who claims that it's too cheap? I haven't heard this argument before (I'm not sure what it could mean).

"too cheap” refers to the fact that solar geoengineering's apparent low deployment costs could allow a state (or other actor?) to implement it, with global effects, even in the absence of international agreement.
