Yeah, as you know I usually endorse the policy "ignore people who are arguing in bad faith" But I think the points about calibration are worth explaining, since so many people are confused about calibration and how it relates to good judgment.

Yup. I wrote my tweet overly hastily and in some irritation at Taleb. I should have said something like "for that reason don't need any particular response", rather than saying he _should_ be ignored.

Since I am getting ignored I‘ll expand. It’s difficult for me to ser how you can say that a bestselling author whos work is followed by tausends of pple after ignoring him for 10 years.
