Love the Vorkosigan books, and much Kay too (esp "Lions"). "A Civil Campaign" is absolutely extraordinary! Love the Cordelia books, "Memory" and "Mirror Dance" too!

I think A Civil Campaign and Komarr are the ones I've read the most (more than I explicitly list here) https://www.cs.ubc.ca/~tmm/books/books.auth.html#Bujold,%20Lois%20Mcmaster … I've read The Curse of Chalion and Paladin of Souls many many times as well, they resonate with me much more than the third in that series.

I enjoyed your ordering of the best V books. Mine would be very similar: "Shards", "A Civil Campaign", "Memory", "Mirror Dance", "Komarr", probably.

The Cordelia books, particularly Shards, seem very personal to Bujold, and I think it makes them particularly exceptional. Loved the afterword to "Cordelia's Honor", too, which contains this (and much else):pic.twitter.com/TANceXbBFU
