I've rarely read a more pretentious thread. How well does Gilman know the people he's psychoanalyzing? Very well, I hope - but strongly doubt it. However, he's happy to diagnose them as sociopaths & narcissists. Also, amusingly, Gilman appears to know almost nothing of current AI

There are good arguments to be made against Bostrom et al. But cheap pop psychology seems unlikely to be the route.
