It's a great essay and a nice ending. Didn't expect a little punch of emotion at the end like that. Love Feynman
Yep! There's another version of the essay (I think in Physics Today) where he adds that with anyone other than Feynman he (Hillis) wouldn't have been comfortable saying "I'm sad because you're going to die". But with Feynman it seemed natural.
