If you had to gauge a random stranger's intelligence + creativity with a single question, what would it be?

Fun Q! Some ideas: + Should Canada join the EU? + What's an unusual (or fun) approach to climate change? + How would the world change if money - the actual tokens - could have negative value, e.g., a bill with a value of (-1) dollars?

+ Suppose matter were fully programmable. What are some unusual things you could build with it? Unusual new materials you'd like to exist? + If you could give a gift to anyone in history, but it had to be someone you didn't know, who would it be, and what would it be?

TBH, the question is overwhelmingly stimulating. Love it!

+ Think of 3 friends. What are 3 unique or near-unique qualities you love in them? Have you told them? If not, why not? + How would you change your life if you received a gift of 10 million dollars? (This is a v conventional question, but the answers are often striking IME).

Are these supposed to be answered on the spot? I find it terribly hard, and I'm not that stupid! So many variables to consider and papers to read before even thinking my answer is worth more than a yes/no coinflip.

Your last sentence shows high intelligence, so I'd say the questions are going well so far 😀

I've fantasized about getting to talk to Archimedes, but Faraday's a great choice too. Archimedes's letters have this air like "this is so cool, isn't it?! Is there anything we can't figure out if we keep at it?" ~ as I felt about programming after working through SICP.
