On "value != popularity": you're often getting near interesting boundaries when your ideas become illegible. In this sense, unpopularity can be a positive signal. ime interaction is an incredibly loose measure of long term impact

it expands your content’s reach which is good only insofar as that reach is to audiences that it also has the potential to influence

it’s probably wrong, but i tend to default to thinking that the only audience that matters are the ones who follow me therefore my reach is ipso facto 100% perfect with or without “interaction” i.e. amplification. losing followers is a thing i pay attention to tho

legibility is definitely important but also good ideas have a way of finding an audience, esp if you publicly dwell on them long enough
