What's the most interesting new thing you learnt in 2018 where did you encounter it and via who?

Very specific: I = 1/P where I is the information content/the relevance (of a signal/event) and P is the probabilty of the signal/event. Saw it at several lectures at university and love it as it applies almost to every problem.
