"The way to extraordinary growth and changes often involves a fundamental ontological or ‘lens’ shift in how you see the world... Meeting magicians is the first step to becoming one"
Somehow I omitted the link to the full piece, which is very well reading in its entirety:https://autotranslucence.wordpress.com/2018/03/30/becoming-a-magician/ …
One thing I've learned to do - too slowly, to my regret! - is to study those people. What do they do? _Why_ are they doing it? What's the gestalt? What are the big, obvious things that I would never think even to question, but which they do differently?
Everything from the tiniest mechanics to the largest gestalt, from the mundane to the remarkable is worth thinking about, and learning from. I know that sounds like a cliche, but I think it's true. There's so much to learn from in others that I think we often screen it out.

The last piece of this was so great. Who are some magicians you’ve learned from? Anyone we both know?
