Curious how true this is (from Wikipedia)? I know Celera benefited from the public HGP, but this implies it was their main advantage. My understanding is that it was a minor issue, and their main advantage was the use of whole genome shotgun sequencing.pic.twitter.com/Ef9YcUYkEu

It'd be interesting to know the relative contributions. The Wikipedia article sorta implies Celera very heavily depended on the public project, and I'm not sure how accurate that is.
