I wasn’t expecting to like Doom as much as I did – I’m not particularly a “I love to shoot things” person – but I got really into it because it was so well done. Like enjoying a movie in a genre you’re usually not a big fan of. Insane adaptive soundtrack
I loved it, too, for the same reason. And I don't really finder shooters all that compelling.

Yeah. I think it’s the immersion. You can feel the love that was put into making the experience and you feel “carried” by it. I’m currently playing Diablo 3 and it’s the opposite. No love. Everything just pasted and bolted on
