This, in the intro to Pais's biography of Bohr, seems fairly typical. I've read three of Pais's books, and for the most part he comes across as tough and unsentimental. This statement is quite something.pic.twitter.com/25JYQCr1Qz

Robert Noyce was really kind and supportive. Personal romantic life not exactly a role model, but at work he was kind and well loved.
