I used to worry about that, but I've come to like it. It means the poll isn't revealing about the population-level answer to the question. Rather, it's really revealing something about the way the person asking the question relates to the world.
In this case: Devon's tweeps probably have a relatively realistic view of themselves!

I’m tempted to conclude that but keep second-guessing it :P. What if her tweeps overall have rosy views of themselves, but those who spend more time on Twitter have less-rosy views, so it cancels out? Not saying that’s the case here, but it’s so hard to untangle.
