It says that because excess CO2 takes thousands of years to leave the atmosphere, decisions we make now will still be affecting our distant descendants then. That is a nonsequitur and an extremely implausible prophecy.
It does? I didn't notice. Actually, up through the first 20 or so videos he's barely mentioned humans at all, except incidentally.
