Anyone know how well neutrino would function as a quantum wire (i.e., store of quantum information)?

Neutrino oscillations could be awfully problematic if the quantum info was encoded in flavor eigenstates(+mass mixing). We had a lengthy discussion re using neutrino qubits at IQC some years back. There were measurement + state evolution issues. I'll see if I can find my notes.
To be clear, I think they're likely to be terrible qubits! The point is something can have a very long coherence time, and still be a horrid qubit.

I seem to vaguely recall someone recently working on mass superselection in the context of resource theories. Seems to me that if it is difficult to form a resource theory for mass superselection then that might answer your question (at least partly).

I'm with you on that! I think that really bears emphasis, long coherence times alone doesn't necessarily make something a good qubit. I hope you're writing on something in QI/QC again. You have been missed!
