Also, TBC, it wasn't so much dominant assurance contracts (though those are deeply interesting) but rather the point that anyone could easily make a new type of market, with DACs as an example. That seemed (and seems) mindbogglingly important to me.
@mattocko opined that regular Joe's can't invest in startups (easily) due to laws that "protect" them, but can buy the lottery. Securitized Crypto's are SEC problematic, but there should be a way to provide access to capital for startups and access to deals by regular folks
