This ignited a life-long love of fast rave music targeted at 15-year-olds on amphetamines. I remember being very disappointed though when I would grab HH off the rack at Tower records and discovery it was way too UK Hardcore for my tastes. /5

I _like_ the melodic vocals and am much less into the overdriven speakers and drum synth. D&B has its place, but not in my HH. There's a lot of great HH and HH-adjacent music (Dune, Milk Inc, Groove Coverage, Scooter (ugh). /6
