Would be cool to “swap Internets for an hour” — see Twitter, FB, news recommendations, etc of the person least like me. And they’d see mine. Like traveling to see different perspectives, but online.

I met someone who had recently returned from spending (most of) 20 years living with a nomadic tribe of hunter-gatherer Aboriginals in the remote Australian outback. He was very interesting to talk with, & hard to connect to, despite having an upbringing very similar to my own.
On any given issue I couldn't predict whether we would connect... or be virtually unable to communicate.

It can even take just a few months! A friend of mine who stayed with me after biking solo across America was very hard to talk with.
