Cloud Atlas is one of my favourite movies. (And a very rare case where I think the movie is much better than the book.)
Saw an interview where David Mitchell said he was in tears after seeing a rough cut of the movie. Realized they'd just absolutely knocked it out of the park. Never understood why it didn't make a zillion dollars, and win a bunch of Oscars....
