Allow me to blow your mind: Scream, unlike every other major horror series, doesn’t feature an immortal killer. It features an immortal heroine vanquishing, film by film, fame-hungry psychopaths obsessed with her. That’s not actually horror. Scream is a superhero franchise.
I have only the dimmest memories of Scream. This makes me want to rewatch.
