In so doing I'm going to violate conventional modesty norms. I've internalized those norms, so feel awkward about it (thus this tweet). I also think those norms often really should be ignored.

Meaning: I can make a strong case for a more advanced book, and also for a less advanced one. TBH, my own preference is probably for more advanced. And I wrote mostly to please myself (only way I can write).
