Only 3?! Please share tips how can you limit it only to 3 simultaneous conversations!
There ought to be a name for the mental state when you're carrying on 3+ texting (etc) conversation simultaneously. It's oddly generative. Feels strange - and often a good idea to step out - when the emotional valences of the conversations are different.

My first extended WhatsApp conversion was just with one person, but effectively had multiple threads. Was really engaging. Physically, it’d be like two people sitting side by side writing, reading, and passing notes. (Made possible by WhatsApp’s ‘respond to message’ feature.)
