Science is done in institutional structures (universities, labs, groups, companies) that install some sort of order (electricity, water, hierarchies, rewards, incentives, etc). Those structures and that order are manifestations of power. Science does not exist outside of them...
All right, instead of "all about power" I'll rephrase into "always about power". It is of course social, moral, and cultural too. But it also pursues truth, objectivity and validity. Overall, it does a great job in weaving them together into knowledge products.
