In a more constructive frame, this has to be tied to some actual concrete necessities in graduate student life. For example, it'd be useful if this somehow occurred before students pick their advisors...
Definitely! In a way, it'd be good if it could be integrated with the whole experience. Ideally, students would be comfortable asking these questions of their advisors, other professors, postdocs, other students. But that also is a skill to learn to do.
