A long tweetstorm provides a much less efficient way of conveying a story than an article or blog post. *But* the discipline of writing in bursts of <280 characters, every one of which actually says something, can have a salutary effect on one’s style.

I think that advantage is pretty tiny, at least in Twitter’s current configuration. I don’t find it a great medium for back-and-forth discussion.
