"In a future essay, Toward a Young Lady's Illustrated Primer [...]" Such a tease! Does anyone you know working on such a project?
Alan Kay originated the Dynabook, which was clearly the inspiration for the Illustrated Primer. In some sense, he’s been working on it for 40 years; much of modern computing came out of that work, but much of the vision remains to be realized.
