Mancur Olson on “The Logic of Collective Action”. Axelrod’s “Evolution of Co-Operation”. And Schelling’s “MIcromotives and Macrobehaviour”. None is quite common pool resource management, but all are close, esp Olson and Axelrod.

Yeah, Olson would be at the top of the list. Going a different direction Appadurai’s opening chapter of...ah will have to look up name. Also Lave and Wenger Situated Learning. Neither mention CPRs but you’ll see a strong relation that makes sense in context of academia.
