Finally (finally!) reading _Seeing like a State_; @ErichMSchwarz has been suggesting it to me for ages. Reading _Elinor Ostrom's Rules for Radicals_ (not by Ostrom, note) at the same time (ht @michael_nielsen and @CameronNeylon who mention Ostrom every chance they get :)

...more seriously starting to map out an attempt to do a synthesis/read across between social theories of knowledge, theories of groups (sociology & cultural), and group and institutional economics. Would be interesting to chew fat on those with both of you...
