I walked down to the beach this morning in Santa Cruz and there was a ukelele choir singing + playing 60s tunes. California isn't disappointing my stereotypes either.
Walking behind two women along the Santa Cruz wharf I learn that "the Australian accent is over" (uh oh). Also, the smell of pot is omnipresent. My childhood visions of California based on Hollywood movies have been realized.pic.twitter.com/POjAXYxQrd
