Excellent dude, this is what I want to hear! As I mentioned on Discord, I just work fully in auto-tangent and use the add/remove in-between hotkey that @OhCrapItsJeremy showed me. However the s>a>s method was something I used prior to moving to fully auto-tangent. Its great!

Curious as to what this method is?

So instead of beginning off with stepped mode I just work 100% in auto-tangent instead and just work through the blocking process as normal. I remember it being called Spline Blocking. That way as I work I strengthen my poses, stay on whole frames, and fix my tweens as I go.

I talked to a few people that worked in the same way but I can't remember if they called it that or I did lol. I just started working this way earlier in the year and it's something I wish I did sooner. I believe David Lam introduced the workflow to me but it's been a while.

Ah ok. Is this what some people call “splocking”? Personally I think it’s cool if we just call it SAS from now on

Honestly I feel like we should gather all of the known animation workflows and give them names. Would be easier than having to explain my process constantly, I kinda suck at doing that lol.

I’ve always called this copied pairs. Blocking in auto tangents, adding holds and adjusting your transition times for each pose change. Are we talking about the same thing?
