My personal experience is that speed kills. I spent a long a good portion of early career refining my process so that I could produce quality assets quickly and consistently. As much as possible, all of your "how do I do this" questions should be automatic.

Then your questions will turn to "what will make this cool". If you get stuck surfing through menus, figuring out what hotkeys does what and not knowing what happens when you slide a key from one place place to another, you'll spend a lot less time being creative.

I found that I was also more mentally "fresh" when I got home from work so that I could focus on creative outlets and leveling up
