I use Alt+ the top bottom on my intuos. Alt+ lower button to zoom. Hope this helps
animators that use a cintiq or intuos to animate, how did you handle "pan" in Maya? (It's usually alt+MMB)

Hold the button under my thumb like pencil not an airbrush and keep my middle mouse button mapped to the upper switch - eraser end so I can just roll my thumb up and hit it and drag.

I set my rocker switch to middle mouse click. Works like a charm!

I use the tip for lmb, lower trigger as rmb and upper trigger for mmb. On a intuos tablet.
