Id say rotate the leg forward from the top the angle back the foot to be flat with the floor again.

Looks like the knees are locked on that pose. Geo solution could be to push the knee forward, or move the torso back. Rig/skel solution could be to "lock" the knee joint before skinning, either a floating knee controller, or an ik solver that lets you flip its bend direction.

soft select edge loop 1/3 of the length of the lower leg. use soft selection, move forward. relax shape issues. limblength needs to be equal. higher femur, move slightly back. lower knee a bit. higher ankle. also add bend in the knee for the IK :)

I always place the knee joint towards the knee cap and not in the middle anyway so I can get nicer collapsing on the inside (and less stretching on the outside)
