About a decade ago I stopped requesting to work on specific films, and instead started asking to work with specific animators I admire and can learn from. This has been huge for my artistic growth
After thinking about this a few days this one resonates with me the most. The ~5 or so people you interact with every day has a huge impact on your perception of your current situation. Also be nice. Learned this the hard way.
