You just add ten times the normalized vector of v (by dividing it by its length). k = i + 10 * v / | v |

say I have a point in 3D space:
i = ( 2, 3, 5)
and I have a vector
v = <3, 3, 3>
how do I find a second point (let's call it k) that is exactly 10 units from i using v?
