  I might use blending 1 out of 10 instances for very specific shots where it could work. But it almost always a 0 to 1 switch.

  There is a time & place for both, right?. im using lil'ol'Poser. it only toggles on/off. After i make adjustments w IK, i bake the limb keys, toggle off, then manually blender things. Toggle as needed. I usually resort to 1 frame changes when trying to cheat something visually

  I prefer On/Off to keep control but sometimes I allow it 2 frames to blend and move both the IK/FK controls to adjust the inbetween. I only allow it when the change mihght be a bit extreme and the blending allows it not to pop up.

  On and offis my fav, particularly when there is a button in the rig that allows me to snap the position of the IK to FK and viceversa. Otherwise I may consider doing the blending
