I taught college animation for a few years and had the exact same challenge. Timing and spacing was one of those things that either they got it or didn’t. Was always a huge focus! Floaty animations drive me bonkers lol

As a student; is there something that you found that helped students pick up on the concept? working with reference video. maybe graph editor does this; and your character does that to help with timing and spacing? I always run into timing, spacing, and follow through issues.

Not really. The best I can do is take someone’s file and demonstrate how I would approach it directly
