Can an animator explain this concept to me: “real person performs an action.. copy it exactly into your animation, the character would likely look slow and aesthetically imperfect. Real movements do not follow perfect arcs or create appealing or powerful silhouettes”- y is that??
I think the biggest problem (talked with my son tonight about it), the camera is removing information & recomposing it, you then have to re-interpret spatial relationship & movement in order for it to feel right in your animation, can’t trace must build Silhouette from structure!

I went down this rabbit hole years ago and hit a dead end at limits in visual perception of relative mass. Couldn’t quite connect the dots from there
