I would add : don’t tell too much about what you show so you don’t influence their feedback.

IMO most times that person is not actually listening but is instead defending themselves. It’s something I’m aware of and try to mitigate when teaching. I usually say “hold your thoughts and let me think, let’s discuss after”

One thing I saw ppl do too much while I was at uni: Don't take Everyone's Feedback to heart. Some may say one thing, and one Entirely different. Applying everybody's feedback will just confuse you and everyone else.

Exactly. Decision paralysis is a real thing especially early on. Also, over time those 1-3 people might change as you grow past them
