    I don’t mind delivering letters, but one more broom and I’m out! Snowy owls can sometimes be seen in Minnesota’s . Look for owls sitting on or near the ground in wide-open areas like frozen lake surfaces. More birding tips:

    Followup to : Windows m5d.12xlarge AWS ArcServer w/ PostgreSQL down to ArcPro on local fiber still pretty laggy. 8 seconds for a point feature move. BUT AWS-to-AWS on same VPC is great. Looks like everybody gets a server! (cause they're cheaper than workspaces) ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I'm hoping that folks can help recommend for preferred syncing software for remote workers. Trying to avoid lock file issues in and permission delays experienced in with editing/geoprocessing GIS files; both Shapefiles & FGDB...?

    Bad IT week for Micah: Stream is NOT an efficient file sharing tool when it comes to GIS. It checks ownership/permissions every-time it accesses or writes even if syncing is paused. Turns 4 sec geoprocessing into 52 seconds. tech support is like ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

    I received a response from an IT Analyst regarding scheduling an upgrade: I sent an email last week & then follow up this morning to see if there is anything else he needs. He told me he set aside some time NEXT Friday to READ my email. Poor guy needs a little margin in his life.
