Finally took the plunge into a 4k set. Last TV I purchased was a plasma in 2010. Was hoping OLED would’ve been a bit cheaper by now for the size I’ve wanted, but the new high end Samsung QLED’s convinced me to jump in. This should be fun.

I'm disappointed that burn in is still a bit of a problem with OLED. That said, is rather wait for them to fix it because it's much nicer than LEDs. Still on a plasma myself. Grats on purchase though, they're nice screens!

I figured with pixel shifting and compensation cycles and even the fancier “logo identification” stuff they were already pretty reliable.

Probably. But my plasma is pretty prone to it so I'm more paranoid about it. Bloodborne loading screens... Oh boy... At least none of it is permanent and goes away quickly

Really! We have a 2010 Samsung PN59D and regularly fall asleep with Netflix or Hulu or Xbox menus up and rarely ever see anything sticking around.
