But weather conditions are slightly inherent in the sport. There’s never a time when it isn’t a factor.
I’m not watching to see how awesomely the clouds did, or which pressure front is being tubular. If it impacts everyone equally fine, but things like wind gusts can mean the difference between gold and nothing. That doesn’t make me as a viewer feel good about any of it.

I doubt a rogue wind gust is likely to completely screw one person. They do carefully monitor. The snow conditions are more of a factor, and if conditions aren’t good (Sochi) that’ll impact everyone a little differently.
