I like some of them. It makes me angry that weather is a factor for outdoor stuff. Especially in serial competitions. “Oh there was a gust of wind so that guy is a loser.”
But weather conditions are slightly inherent in the sport. There’s never a time when it isn’t a factor.
I’m not watching to see how awesomely the clouds did, or which pressure front is being tubular. If it impacts everyone equally fine, but things like wind gusts can mean the difference between gold and nothing. That doesn’t make me as a viewer feel good about any of it.
