      I think progression is shallow right now. I somewhat disagree about consequences for failure, though. If you die and your ship sinks, it's not a big deal. If you lose your treasure, though? YOWCH.

      Yeah but if someone jumps you and kills your entire crew, you can just respawn on the ship (if it hasn't sank) so it doesn't feel like you lose anything. Also, you don't get anything for attacking, unless they happen to have treasure that you steal...

      I was sayin' people want severe consequences, not that there really are any. Losing your treasure sucks, but it's just a little time, as opposed to people requesting that you have to earn a new ship and such.
