Games are expensive to make and run. AAA boxed games really haven't changed prices, even to match inflation/royalties. Which is also largely dictated by console manufacturers. Just selling a big AAA game for $60 is no longer enough. What's the solve?

I probably exaggerated a little but I remember beating the order 1886 in about 5 hours. Call of duty and battlefield campaigns although I can see the argument that they are mainly PvP games.

1886 was a ... unique situation. For sure. And I think they paid that price, whether earned or not. CoD campaigns usually take me like 7? But I think it's interesting value is generally only based on time spent, and not quality or impact of an experience.
