        I totally agree. I've played since the beginning and classic servers hold zero appeal for me. I want the game to move forward, not back.

        What made vanilla special to me was the mystery, the beginnings of the community, exploring a new world, and the friendships forged.

        That meme quote was 100% accurate. Once the novelty wears off, whatever's left of the community will be at war with itself over which specific way Blizz did things wrong. They chose the wrong patch, progressing too slow/fast, etc.
