PC gaming is effectively a digital platform now. When will consoles catch up? Are they parallels, or is there a fundamental difference?
They're actually disincentivized from sales as they're beholden to brick & mortar, and effectively don't want to piss them off.

PC games, music, and even movies to a great degree are digital. No returns. No resales. Are those wrong?

Not wrong, but a lot of people buy a game burn through it and then trade it for something new. I'm 80% digital on my console.
