Only played Destiny to max level and then stopped. Haven't played since. Should I get RoI and start a new character?

im enjoying it but content wise RoI is super thin if you aren't in for the grind
Yeah I guess the question is: is the $60 worth it for an end-to-end experience. Stopping more or less once all content is seen.
