Large sites have accurately noted that user comments just don't provide them any value. And less and less do people care.

Interesting communication shifts on how people interact. From giant riots on forums to limited-time friend to friend snaps.

Effectively recreating real-world discussions and interactions digitally is I think where things will continue going
