      CBS 11pm news in Seattle has been showing highlights of Highschool football for 30 minutes. Does this happen in places? Slow news?

      This is the first official weekend of HS football up here, so it's getting a little extra coverage.

      I don't watch a ton of nightly news, but I've never seen them ever mention HS football unless something funny/terrible happens.

          in the midwest/south, HS football is king. They get basically the entire 10pm news slot
